before someone writes 'do a search', i have and it yielded different answers. i called Eagle today and they suggested that i torque my rods to 75 ft. lbs.. i am confused. here is what i got:

eagle 6.125 rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts, used moly lube on clevite bearings. any info would greatly be appreciated.

Torque them to what Eagle told you to. It's pretty simple, really.

75 seems extremly high. Go to ARP's website and find your bolt size and tensile stregnth. Then there is a chart to show you how much to TQ to.

i did go to ARP's website, but those specs are for a general application, not a specific application. i even called ARP and the guy told me to call eagle for the info.

i know i am not the only person using eagle rods, what did you guys torque the bolts to?

75 with ARP or .0064 -.0068" stretch. Whichever comes first, but 75 will work if you don't have a stretch gauge.
