I was out ridin in my 99 Trans Am with my gf, 72 degrees no humidity with the T-tops off and when I get on the interstate highway I saw a big fat guy ridin low in a pink civic with a bomex body kit and the front bumber was hangin by 2 weilds and was rocking back and forth at 55 mph.. So I act like the cool dude and I get up next to em and I was like "Yo, Lets Go Man, Lets See What You Got!" :drive:
So he gives me the Fat Joe kinda nod and takes off his shirt and puts on a platnium chain (gotta look cool being dumb) :devil: and he downshifts, I floor hit at 60 in 3rd and the second he floors the gas LOL!! :jest: his front bumber falls of goes under all four wheels and hes like WTF!?! :jest: :confused: im laughing so hard I barely realize im going 95 mph and I missed the exit to the mall :bang:

Wouldnt call that a kill, but just plain humor.. :dark:

lol yea!! i ran a 11.718 at 121mph and thats a "higher then normal" trap speed.. and my friends dad wit ha 03 superchged vette spinning first and second bad! he ran a 12.5 at 122ish MPH<---thats with alot of spin on street tires with 490 wheel HP.

Good story...but 12.4 @ 119mph is more realistic. No chance a 100shot is giving him around 650rwhp.

thats a pretty funny story. it reminde me when i was behind a civic and a an integra on the highway. they went to race and the integra floored it and went ahead of the civic. then the civic hit it and his muffler fell off. it was the funniest thing ive ever seen.

the reason for 130 was because the conditions on the track werent exactly standard, the roads were still damp. I used nitrous at mid 3rd gear when i was about 1/8th of the way there my tires were STILL spininng in fact... when i launched speedometer said 80mph! I was up against an evo8 at the time and he was havent as much trouble as me because of AWD but he was still strugglin, he said 1/8th he was 110 mph... probably in reality 130 was probably 100-110 it was up there last night and best run was 12.3@110 and that made a little more sense, gonna update it now

That's what did it for me. Fella's, he's either taking you all for a ride, or he's a ricer. Either way, the story isn't as funny to me. That's actually pretty common around here...(the part about the kit coming off going down the road)

I guess in this particular case it is. I suppose that in addition to the damp track the timing lights were off too, so why not read the speedo? I would imagine that on a track that wet that spraying enough to get your speedo up to 134 at the big end would more than likely put his ass into the wall too, but whatever. :eyes:

Wait the evo was at 110mph @ 1/8th? Thats a whole lot of wheel spin for an AWD car or he is seriously modded...and what was your 60ft time on that 12.3 @ 110 MPH run? Are you on drag radials? To cut a 12.3 @ 110 mph you must have hooked like crazy, which you said you were spinning all the way to the 1/8th the other night while spraying???????????????? This is my vote for the worst made up story ever. If you made typos or didnt include some info then maybe the story could be believable but as it stands nothing in the entire post adds up IMO.

110 through the 1/8? then ran a 12.4 WTF???? I pull 102 through the 1/8 and finish off with a 10.77 in the 1/4. Did your car get dropped out of a airplane at the 1/8??

Someone in a 4dr sunbird blows by me in a 30 at 55... Then at a red light Revs and does a neutral drop at the green while I was sipping coffee.. I gently put the cup in the holder, launched and still cleared the intersection first by a mile.

Hey, just b/c his car is fast, no reason to hate, when I installed my 4.10's and the crate motor in my sig i was trapping 167 with a 9.29 ET...and that was launching in 3rd gear off idle. I used donuts on the back to prove a point too. Also, I went straight from 3rd into OD because I have so much power that shifting to 4th is a wase to time, and it kept me from blowing the donuts off. Then I power slid my car around at the 1000' mark so that it was facing my opponent and waved at him out the windsheild and threw it into my SUPERHIGH geared reverse gear and floored it for the last little bit of the 1320 and finished up by popping it up on the side two wheels and driving back to the pits.
