Default how big is your A4 CAM???

well basically i've decided to pull the ol 346 out of the camaro and put it into a smaller, more docile, 86' RX7. the camaro will be put into storage for the time being. but while the motor is out i would like to swap out the cams again. with my T1 that i currently have i remember all sorts of surging with it when untuned. i have a hptuner and a 3800 stall, heads are milled .030! what is the biggest cam i can run without having P-V clearance issues and tuning issues? i was thinking a G5X2 or a 231/237 tsp magic stick. also this will be with a set of Patriot LS6 heads. thanks in advance.

You might be cutting it a little close with the magic stick but the 231/237 might be ok. The guys a TSP could tell you that better.

I am running a custom 230/232, 574/575, 111 LSA cam in my A4. It worked well with my old 3300 TC and works well with the 4000 stall I have now. I love this cam, It put down great dyno numbers for an A4 and does awesome at the track. Check my sig for numbers. Don't confuse this with the F13 cam, they are not the same.

Remember guys, he said his heads are milled .030........And the lift & duration isn't all that you look at for P to V clearance. the LSA will play a part in that as well. For instance my "mild" 230/232, 574/575, 111 lsa cam on stock untouched heads has about 100 thousands clearance.....
