Default N20 and Stock tranny?

I want to put a 75-100 shot of on my car. Right now i have headers intake exhaust, and thats it. How many passes could i possibly run before the tranny starts to go?

Spraying through the shifts on a stock tranny is a pretty debatable subject. Some guys say that they've done it for years with no problems.

I myself am a big fan of not spraying through and I'm still on my original tranny after 4 seasons of some major nitrous use.

What if the stock tranny had the transgo shift kit installed? Would that help it survive spraying N20 thru shifts?

Could you reduce your shift points really low and then spay when the car goes into 4th gear would that change anything at all. Is it possible with a tuner to set the mph so low? Or possible wait till third to spary would that save the tranny at all?

Doing either of those would mean that the car would run crap for numbers. The plain and simple solution is to spend $80 on a Window switch.

Most people run the MSD window switch. BMN also has a nice one. Check out some of our sponsors like, Nitro Dave, Tbyrne, and Thunder racing.

I run a 150 shot, (on a stage 3 4l60e though) but use a window switch starting at 3000rpm and ends at 6000rpm, and with a wot switch. I would suggest getting a window switch and a wot switch, But you will really be on borrowed time, just start putting some money on the side for a new trans
