hey guys i heard that there was about 5 wires in the passenger side underpanel that operate the factory alarm. is this true? where can these wires be found and what does each of them do? i am looking to do al ittle wiring with my factory alarm and need to find these wires.

There are only a couple of wires that are specific to the factory alarm system - the shock sensor wires and the parking light flash relay wire. Other wires are used by the alarm but are also for other functions such as the door open signal and the hatch open signal.

What are you trying to do? If you can be more specific about what you need, I can post wire colors, pin locations, and descriptions.
