Default double roller chain - squeeling fan belts?

I did a H/C about three years ago and used a double roller timing chain. Recently, I had some issues with throwing codes so I checked the rocker arms, timing chain, cam retainer, etc for busted hard parts.

Everything checked out OK.

When I re-assembled the car, my belts started to squeel. This was a problem I had a few years back too but it eventually went away.

Question: Is it possible the double roller is causing the crank pulleys to not align?

I tried a new crank shaft bolt this week end and torked it 37lbs + 140 degrees - no help with the squeel, however.

You probably got some coolant on the pulley(s).

Have you simply tried spraying the belts with belt dressing?
