Jessel vs Harland sharps??
Ok i just ordered a set of Jessel SS rockers to go on my new 408. On my motor right now i have a set of Harlandsharp rockers with low mileage. The reason why i switched is because my new cam is a 253/257 with 642-646 lift and i want to decrease the chance for valve float and to improve durability. Do you think that the Jessels are alot better than the Harland's or did i just waste some cash

I think Jesel's are the better choice, but I would not have gone with the "SS". It is my understanding that these are still non-adjustable; and with the serious camshaft (and I assume serious motor) you are running, I would strongly suggest going to an adjustable valvetrain. Unless Jesel has changed, that requires going to their next level setup which runs $1,000.00-$1,200.00, instead of $699.00 or whatever they get for their SS series. Whatever you do, good luck.

No comparision one is $400 one is $700 but yes the rockers will perform just the same as the ones on your motor as someone said they are still not adjustable. ANd for the money I would use the T&D rockers great piece.
