Default VIR .... next weekend !!

They are having a 2nd Annual Sock Car Spectacular.

there will be 5 different clubs there. Im racing w/ the Woodbridge Kart Club

The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series normally competes on oval tracks, both paved and dirt, ranging in length from a quarter-mile to a full mile, throughout the northeast and midwest. The Stock Car Spectacular at VIR, where they will compete on the Patriot Course, marks a huge departure for the series and presents a challenge to both teams and drivers in coming to grips with a road-racing set-up.

The Historic Stock Car Racing Association features former NASCAR stockers. The HSCRA always puts on an extremely competitive show, with paint schemes that are immediately recognizable to stock car fans.

The Stock Car Road Racing Championship is for late model stock cars that compete exclusively on road courses. The series runs throughout the Eastern United States and was a huge hit with Southside Virginia stock car racing fans last year, with local favorite Peyton Sellers finishing third in his first road-racing event.

The American V8 Supercar Series features a variety of modified V8-powered street cars, including Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, Firebirds, Thunderbirds and other muscle cars, while The American GT Challenge utilizes purpose-built, tube-frame American touring or grand touring cars conforming to SCCA GT1, Grand-Am GTS or Trans-Am specifications.

Factory Five Racing is a road racing series for Cobra Replicas. The Cobra is high-performance icon, and last year's full field of these fire-breathing Factory Five Cobra Replica roadsters provided an unforgettable show.

The Woodbridge Kart Club is an organization that runs enduro events, and will race for 30 minutes on the full VIR circuit with two classes of 125cc karts that will run in excess of 100 mph.

So if anyone wants to come out, it should be a great time.
