I was just curious because I just bought my car from NYC, and the Jet-Hots that it has on are really rusted. I was just wondering how well the ceramic coating on Pacesetters holds up in Florida. Also how hard should it be to install them since the car already has headers.

they will surface rust.
I don't mean to get too in depth about this but.. Because my car was up north for a while the Jet-hots are just straight up rusing off at the collectors. Under daily driving conditions (in FL) do you think the pacesetters will be good for a least a couple years? I really don't care about surface rust, I just don't want to buy new headers then replace right away

I will have had mine on a year next month, and they look good. There is a VERY little bit of surface rust on the drivers side one, none on the pass. I also live on the water, and my car is parked about 50' from the water.
You'll be fine! :)
P.S. Install should be easy!

You might just want to get ahold of some POR-15
high temp paint (I have used "cast iron gray") and
touch it up, the rust is most likely only on the
outside. Jet-Hot does a pretty good job on coating
and (at least the earlier) Pacesetters did not even
coat the inside at all. POR-15 high temp will hold up
to header collector type heat just fine, and it's way
less money and hassle for something that doesn't
get seen.

I have had mine for 3 years now. They do have a fair amount of surface rust mostly near the collectors.

I've had mine on, in Tennessee, for about a year and a half. I drive it in all sorts of weather and have put about 16,000 miles on it since the install. The are "speckled" with surface rust at the collectors only. I did have an air tube that was not even in use (my car is an '02) just pop off after about 13 months on the pass. side, but they shipped me a replacement right out. All I had to pay was to ship the old one back.
