Thanks for the very informative tech info. HUH Will these heads have their limitations like the AFR's because of the restricted airflow our plastic intakes offer including the Ported FASTintake?

they willl prolly relase a r-series head after the "street" head. so be patient. i bet that 180 would make some ungodly torque though. the 205's might be half decent hp wise. trick flow is a very decent company.

the ls1 heads have common valve placements for all the different bore sizes(4.8,5.3,5.7,and 6.0)a compromise for production reasons.there's power to be had in moving the intake valve to a more optimum location.

Are you sure Phil?

There are TFS LSx heads on the way but of the regular 15* inline valve variety... Unless the "boys" in Ohio are lying to me...

It'll be interesting to see how well the new Trick Flow heads work on LS1s. Does anybody here have Trick Flow heads on an LT1? I know they've had those heads out for a little bit now, and was just curious to see how well they work.

Once upon a time Chevy V-8s powered full-size Chevy's and intermidiates in very GM division. And in the smaller Nova when they existed. Right now, LSx are out on Corvettes, GTOs, SSRs, CTS-V and trucks. Once they were also on Camaros and Firebirds, but those are unfortunately gone.

All these heads are kinda overloading a limited market. How many heads can be sold?

And why doesn't someone break the bottleneck, and name a head intake pair; bypassing the intake port restrictions?
