Default CP Pistons for LS1?

I tried searching, but came up empty. Does CP Pistons make LS1 pistons yet?

I know Probe uses an LS1 specific forging. I can check with CP on this after the holiday. I need to order some Ford stuff anyway.

Thumbs up

CP probably does but they would be a newcomer to this market and you already have heavyweights like Wiseco and JE and Diamond doing it already. We use the Wisecos as they are built like 750.00 dollar customs even on there least expensive LSx shelf pistons. Also Probe has LSx pistons as well now and we have also had good luck with the ones we've used from them as well and they are a very nice price.

Actually I can't find that they make anything yet for the LS1 on their website either?

Default CP Pistons

CP does make pistons for the ls engines but they don't have off the shelf part #'s . I needed some and they make them like a semi custom piston . They really make some nice stuff .

CP makes some of the nicest pistons. And there web site is out of date. Unless I needed them tomorrow, I would always custom order pistons, rods, and cranks.

I do this a lot but it kills you on cost and time. I always try to stay shelf unless there is a really good reason to stray. Sometimes there is a good reason but usually not. Most of these shortblock combos are fairly scienced out and they stuff is very very good already.
