Default Sweet death today

Was cruising on the highway when i came upon a cl 65 amg mercedes..
At the time i had no clue .I figured v8 supercharged..Till igot closer and seen V12 emblems..

I really wasnt worried(at least at the time).

So i down shift waiting to see if he wants to play (older dude).Well im rolling around 75 in 3rd waiting for him to move.He doesnt ,so i go on a little (still in 3rd).Well he catches up and points forward(motioning to go)..I hit it ,to my suprise the merc isnt going anywhere.By 130 when we shut down he had a good 2~3 cars on me easy..
Guy slowed and game me a the thumbs up and asked me to pull over..
We talked ,he told me he really like fords, but none of them were as fast as he liked..Thats when talking to him ,i found out the cl 65 is a TWIN TURBO v12 --STOCK.. with over 700lb of torque --stock..He says he still had to send the car out to get the ecu upgrades which would net him over 700+hp

All in all a death by a cool car and cool driver..

Yep..
Was reading up the ecu upgrade adds another 125hp and a 30% increase in torque ..on top of the stock numbers

Guess all it takes is money LOL..

I raced one and got beat by A half a car on all motor, I guess he was just playing with me, I't seems that the race would have been closer with your power levels, I guess 600HP with the 700LB torque makes up the weight difference. Very Nice death anyways. Does any one have a calculator or a formula that calculates 1/4 mile times that takes into account the HP, Torque, and weight factors?

Dont feel to bad, I looked one of those car's up on the net after I got killed by one and found that they cost around $180K dollars. A little less than half as much as my house.

I guess it was more me not "thinking" it could be fast..Plus another 200+ of torque doesnt hurt either..

I agree on the cost..add the "upgrades" and its well in to the 225K range

I could be wrong but I think your car will beat him from a dead stop with your HP, TQ, and weight levels. If you cant, then add a shot of nitrous.

I probally could .Im about 700 or so pounds lighter than them (give or take a few pounds)..
But thats why i have the 3psi balancer pulley(bolts over the balancer for additional 3psi-which will add roughly 50rwhp and 80rwtq ) in the garage(waiting on a excuse to install it)..Looks like ill have something to do this weekend
