Default 80E Swappers Need Help

Just to give you some background: I picked up a 6.0 and an 80E with wiring harness and everything. This is off a 2000 HD truck. I completely swapped everything out, including the wiring harness. Therefore, I did not get the harness kit for the 80E swap.

2) I am throwing a couple of codes P0740 (TCC enable soleniod) and P0785 P0785 (3-2 Shift soleniod) does anyone know why these could be on. I really dont think that the actual soleniods are bad, I think it is a wiring problem. But I did swap the entire harness out thinking that that would be suffecient enough.

I took it around the block and it is not shifting out of first. Can anyone give me some suggestions and where to start.

Are you using the stock pcm? If so you need to program it for the 4l80e.

I do have the stock PCM but I thought that my standards version of Hptuners would handle, I have heard from other replies on performance trucks that i Need someone with the capability of of changing the 80E settings, I guess the standard version will not do this.

Read this thread. Ken at hptuners hooked me up with the basic tuning to get the tranny working properly.

You need to have ken make you a bin file with the 6.0L motor and 80e transmission. There is a difference between the wiring and the program is sending info for a 60e.
