Default Torque converter for V6

Ok im not much of a V6 guy.. im used to LS1's..
I just happened to pic up a 98 Camaro with a 3800 in it..
My question is what is the biggest, best convertor i can run in this while still being streetable... I only plan on doing ram-air, maybe headers and some weight reduction, maybe a cutout as well...

Are mid 14's possible with this?? OR what should i do...

i plan on swapping an LS1 in within 2-3 years...

Thanks
Dave

Sounds like you are about there!
if you go to a 3.73 a 4000 - 4200 will help
but what is your plans for the car?

What is the torque curve for the engine?

A converter rated as a 4000 stall behind an LS1 will probably be like a 3500 or less behind a V6. If the V6 torque curve is similar to an LT1's torque curve, a true stall of 2800 - 3200 would be ideal.
