Default Monument Chevrolet Warranty Service

Im having clutch issues and unfortunitely I have to take it in. The closest dealer to me is monument off of 225/belway 8. Has anybody dealt with them? Hope they don't bitch about the pro5.0.

Need Feedback

Thanks

Do you have the stock shifter ? If so that would be a easy thing to change to avoid anyproblems with that.

Don't get upset, but USUALLY clutch problems are non-warranty because they are wear-n-tear items such as brake pads and such. What year is your car and what kind of mileage does it have? Are you trying to go through the Extended Warranty. IF it is a problem with the HYDRAULIC system then I think that would be covered.

Good Luck!

Thanks guys

I have the bumper to bumper extended warranty(Car has 71k on it). I talked to some people about what they think the problem is already. It sounds like a bunch of loose forks being shakin around as I put the car in gear and it gets really bad when I'm at the friction point. Anyways, hopefully I can get it over there tomorrow.

i'd put a stock shifter on there first. find out if stock shifter bolts are marked in anyway, and mark them. i can see it beeing too easy for them to weasel out of warrantying a clutch on a transmission with an aftermarket shifter.

I remember when I went to that dealership when I was 18. Test drove a new Camaro SS. The guy let me beat the hell out of it too.

I'll bet you anything its your slave cylinder that died. I am guessing your car is a 2000 by your signature? This sound like the same thing that happend to me a few weeks ago.
