Default new cam/springs/retainers in and maybe revved too high?

After taking her out for her first "spin" i bounced off the stock rev limiter a bit, (6250) now its making a louder sewing machine noise, definately audible over everything else including straight pipes. Do you guys think i bent a rod? Im using the stock pushrods with 918 dual springs (their upgraded gold springs). Or worse... a valve? What do you guys think? The ticking is rpm dependant... my dad says he thinks i tightened the roller rockers too tight, could that be it? I bought the springs and cam used so it had already been heat cycled.

I am gonna ask the obvious......why did you keep the stock pushrods?

I'll leave it to the other, more knowledgable people to give you any advice
