Default Want a better 60ft. ?

We have been noticing lately that alot of cars have been coming through the shop with adjustable torque arms, lower control arms, shocks, and anti roll bars that have been pulled off the shelf and installed by others but not properly adjusted. Anyone can purchase these parts and install them but, they are not going to perform like they are designed to unless they are adjusted professionally according to the vehicle and intended use.

So if you are one of the people that has spent the 1000's of $$$$ on your suspension components and are not happy with the results, bring it by and let us check it out for you. We will set it up on our equipment and adjust pinion angle, vehicle ride height, vehicle instant center, wheel alignment, rear axle housing alignment, and a few other secrets to make your car hook!

We have turned quite a few of these cars around with our suspension set up.

Here's a video of the H/C N2o car we built our recipe off of..

http://www.realdragracing.com/videos...id/fast98z.wmv

Another shot. Wheels up past the 60ft. box! 1.30 on the back tires!

http://www.realdragracing.com/videos...e_chevelle.wmv

I just can't stress enough how much the 60ft affects your E.T. and, how much 60ft. improvement is left in most of your cars and you don't even know it.

Give us a call to make an appointment.

Getting cars to 60ft is the key to having a fast car... So get in line people.. Plus not only will you hook, but your car will look and sit alot better then it did before.

where are you all located? I'm working on a 6 speed car that will hopefully be in the 9's - as long as it can hook. Clicked off some mid 1.4 60's prior to the new goodies... (new motor - hopefully 500rwhp LT1 )But... A little extra in the 60' is worth a whole lot in the end .

thanks

Can you give me an estimate of costs or does it vary too much dependent on what you have on??

i dont understand the concept of lifting the front tires...isnt that bad for the car?? my supra has done mid 1.4s and my front tires dont even come close to lifting up...Most of the fast supras i know can do high 1.3s and low 1.4 and run mid to high 8's on drag radials and they dont even lift the tires at all...My bodykits would crack if i lift the tires and land hard...I think if i even dump the clutch hard in my Z06 something will break...You guys got ***** for riding a wheely like that.

Not all of the cars we set up will lift the front wheels like the one in the video. That particular vehicle was set on "kill". It was tuned down a little bit after that.

The reason why the supras don't lift like this camaro is because they are independent rear suspension which tend to squat alot more than lifting the front.

Duy, you are comparing two different cars here. A solid axle/torque arm car compared to a Supra, Viper, or a Corvette, or even a 240SX which are all independent rear suspension cars. Have you ever seen one of them lift the wheels like this camaro?

That is about all the height you should need to come out and it 60ft good. My suspension was set right, I just need a little bit tigther converter (which I ordered) The car still went some 1.38 and 1.37s with a converter that was completly off.

A mike you think we can do a little more tweaking on my suspension.
So far my best 60ft is a 1.47 60ft. It's not to bad for 3500 lbs M6 on 28's. Maybe we can knock it down to a 1.39-1.40 60ft.?

David, I want to say its like 45 minutes or less from your area. I know there is a backway up Highway 6, but you can also take Beltway 8 towards 59. You get off at 90, and take a left. Go down 90 till you get to Ralstons Liquor, take a left. Go through that stop light, and take the first left (There is a church on the left hand side) and follow around the bend (there is a apt complex on either side). On the right hand side you'll see a buisness center and Icon is down on the left hand side. You'll see the sign.

You can tell i've never been there before
