Default Change Rocker Arms?

My engine should be here is a week. All the drivetrain is new. Should I change my rockers to brand new stockers? Or are the ones I have ok??

Stock rockers seem to pretty good pieces because they are so light. Unless you are planning on going big with the rockers like Jesel, T&D, Crane, they are not worth upgrading. Most of the cheaper rockers like YT, Harland Sharp, Comp, seem to cause valve float issues. I havent heard anything about the Patriot rockers. They look decent but require taller valve covers. Might be something to look into.

I plan on using stock rockers. But since mine have been in for 6 years. I just wonder if I should switch them out for some brand new ones.

Just send yours to Nasty Performance (Nasty Nate).
They have a Harland upgrade kit that include new trunions and C-clips, for about $$260
No more spilled bearings and better than new.

What I meant was, for the same price as stockers. This may be the way to go.

Since I busted seven of my Rockers, I decided to just stay and replace them all with 16 brand new stockers. Cost issue isn't as cheap as you might think. I payed 320.00 for all 16 and that was with my discount. If you can get them cheaper from a dealer, let me know and I'll take mine back for a bigger discount.

Wow, with my discount. I can get them for about $250

But since they have been in the car so long. Worth changing to new stockers?

I think that descision is up to you. If it were me, I'd keep the stockers until they fail. I wouldnt want to spend that much money on stock parts when I could save a little more and get some decent aftermarket rockers. Thats just me though.

If you are getting them at 250.00, your paying cost. What dealer is selling them at that price . I need to take advantage of that kind of discount.

Thats the thing. I don't want to wait till they fail. But if they really never fail. I won't waste the $$$
