Question First dyno on the spray?

I started with a 100 shot with 52 n jet 33 f jet. I hit 470hp 523tq with a 11.7 (3600 RPM) to 10.5 (5900 RPM) AF.
I tried to move up to a 125 shot and it had a miss so I went back down to the 100 shot and had an intake backfire. The lid went flying off and there was a small fire in the bellows that I had to blow out. I put it back together and made an NA pass and it made more power than it had ever made NA with 6 more hp and 10 more tq WTF?? I tried the 100 shot again and it had a miss also. What is the problem? Plugs? I have NGK TR6’s.
I have a widow switch, FP safety switch, WOT switch. I have a stock FP but I watched the fuel pressure during the runs and it never went below 52 psi.
I bought some new NGK TR6’s to put in. What should I gap them at?

Is your window switch cutting the nitrous off before hitting rev limiter? At what rpm did your car backfire.

WS 3000 on 5900 off. Rev. lim. at 6200. It backfired early in the run, at like 3500.

I did not really get it figured out. I'm still looking for advice. I think the plugs got fouled on the 125 shot. (490 hp 519 tq missing most of the run) I tryed the 100 shot on the street after about 50 miles and it seemed to work OK. It hooked hard in first!!! Sorry Al, the SSRA is now in the sig. Just an over sight

I always gap mine at .038, car sounds like its running to rich. 10.5-1 thats insane. Try leaning it out & see what it does. Ive had that problem with a previous kit, so I took the 100 NX jet & put the 75 Fuel jet with it & it ran like a rapped rape.

Also have you had a tune?

I tryed leaning it out. I put the 57 N jet in and left the 33 f jet it. That is where things started to go bad. Yes, it has a great LS1 Edit tune from Doug Rippie Motorsports.

Well something is off, cause I can tell you that 10.5-1 afr is not good. Thats pig rich. The back fire you had would also tell you that its rich, the fuel was puddling in the intake. Then it detonated. What was the AFR on the NA pull?

Its pretty close NA, but your still getting way to much gas on the jug. You would think that it would help alot when you swaped the jets.
