does anyone know of a good woofer for midranges? i'm gonna put in a four channel amp but i don't want 4 two way speakers hooked up to it. i would like to set up a set of components in the from and a midrange for the back. puting in four two ways would mean 4 tweeters, which seems like an over kill to me. but back to my point. a good midrange woofer please.

They should have a decint midrange, but will help with Mid-bass. That will make your Drums and other Kick/Impact sound better.

those look like a little much. i just want something like they sell in componet systems, but without the tweeters and crossover. most audio companies sell component systems, but do any of them sell the items seperately?

Yes. More than likely the brand that your are going to buy for your fronts will sell a "Seprate" mid-range.

Those El. Des. are a pretty good speaker. when you say too much, do you mean price?

when i say too much i mean it looks like a real good subwoofer, all i want is a regular woofer.
