any one dd hpe s cam
Well my LT1 is for sale and I'll be picking up an A4 SS soon. I plan on doing Kooks or QTP LT's and y pipe, GMMG catback, FTRA and lid, and either a yank or vig 3600 converter along with the HPE "S" cam to start with this winter. I was wondering if anyone daily drove this cam in the A4 and how it is on the street with a good tune?

Call the shop sometime and ask for Scooter. He is the office manager here. He has one in his car and a t350 tranny and he daily drives it. There are others on this board that have them

I drive mine everyday to work, but it is a 6 speed car. A/C runs perfect and gas mileage isn't that much worse. I sit in bumper to bumper everyday and get 16 mpg in the city. I can not say enough good things about this cam and HPE

I have no complaints about my S cam. I drive from northwest Houston to U of H every day. My AC runs fine and the car runs great! As for gas mileage goes mine really sucks (much worse than 16mpg), but no one else with the cam seems to have an issue with it. Anyways, all in all its a great cam I say go with it. It should run fine in your A4 once its been tuned.

I have had the s cam in my car for over a year now and have never had any issues with daily driving it. The cam allows you to maintain reasonable gas milage and driveablilty. Best buy that you could do.

I know HPE also made an "R" cam. I think it was more for nitrous, and I am not sure if its bigger or smaller than the "S" cam. I only know of one car that has had it (probably more) but I will say it definatly rolled on the dope .
