you need O2's on both banks. If your talking about a wideband your downpipe is the best place

So each side still needs its own reading? I cant have both sides put into the downpipe from the turbo? I guess i can find a spot in each header to put them again. Huuuh I am tired of messing with it. What if i leave it the way i have it and keep them both side by side in the same downpipe? thanks and sorry i might seem like a jack@$$ but the turbo stuff is new to me.

the narrow bands are calibrated to read the exhaust right from the manafold collector, so thats the best place to put them.
the computer only adjusts the fuel ratio with them on closed loop, also remember their not that accurate, so i wouldnt trust them for a true reading, best way to get a good reading is to use a wide band where it needs to be placed about 6" or more from the downpipe.

so the o2's will get a reading from the downpipe, might even adjust the AFR in closed loop mode, but they will no longer be able to adjust the seperate banks correctly and readings may be off a smiggen.

Would this cause the surging i am having while cruising or low rpms? If not will it hurt to just leave them where they are at then?
