Default drag raced and now no reverse!

This is an edit so please read:
oh yea, the powergrip was just installed 550 miles ago and this is the first time I've taken it WOT since then.

I've calmed down now, this is exactly what happened in short:
I'm thinking it has something to do with the clutch because I ran it the first time and the pedal felt a lil spongy afterwards. parked it. pulled around for 2nd run and it wouldn't go into 1st for like half a min when trying to stage. Launched and wouldn't go into 2nd even though tried a few times to "put" it in while coasting down track. parked it. Wouldn't go into reverse when tried to leave and still wont.

m6.
2nd gear didn't grind on my run, it felt like it was "locked out" like reverse sometimes does, but works fine now....reverse is in permanant "lock out" though

Bleed the clutch...if it still sucks drop the trans and check the slave. Look for leaks in the lines...leaking fluid from under the bellhousing etc.

That doesn't make sense to me? Why would the clutch hydralics keep it locked out of reverse while working fine in the other gears?
oh yea, the powergrip was just installed 400 miles ago and this is the first time I've taken it WOT since then.

Sounds like something inside the trans . It goes into first gear fine ?
Could be the solenoid on the side of the transmission thats keeping it from going into reverse .

please note that I edited the original post because I don't think I was making any sense at 2am last night.
TSP installed the clutch so I know it was bled right, I think they re-used the stock slave (30k miles on it)....so I pretty much know why the clutch is acting up and will have them look at that.

If it is getting spongy after a hard pull=not good.
I'd call TSP & tell them of the problem. Can you get reverse w/ the car not running? You can remove the reverse lockout solenoid & see if it is your problem. If not like source said it is inside the trans, & has to come out for inspection.

Yea, I'm just going to take it back in or something. The pedal was sticking to the floor before the new clutch, so I don't really remember what normal clutch feels like.

When you get in the car its hard to get into 1st, but once you gently force it in it shifts 1-6 like normal. No reverse whether on or off.

So if it's the solenoid it should go into reverse if I unplug it right?

Not if the solenoid is mechanically stuck. You have to remove it to check that.

Well, I took the little space probe looking thing out...thumped it, cussed at it and gave it the stink eye for about 5 min and put it back in. Now it works fine and I'm utterly confused beyond belief.
I guess I have the magic touch today, WTF
