Default TSP Lid owners, answer this!!!

I know they certainly fit nicely, how many of y'all are sealing em down on K&N filters? Did you have to use that adhesive gasket ring? TIA

I have the TSP smoked clear lid and K&N filter, have never used that gasket at all with no problems whatsoever.

Ever take a close look around the seal perimeter to make sure there are no gaps? I'm really getting kind of tired of my MTI lid fitting like crap and not sealing down like it's supposed to... At first it was just fine, but over time it has jst not held up like I would have hoped.

I had a TSP/K&N setup for a couple years, worked great. No gasket either.

I've since changed my filter to a Fram and it fits even better.

I check it every time I clean the filter, no gaps, no problems at all.
