A 9" rearend and a transmission rebuild/bulletproofing will go a long way towards helping you get the most out of your hp gains.

That's the direction I'm heading next.

I love my moser 9' with the locker and 4.11's I learned the hard way. I modded it all up and the drivetrain fell apart.

Same here. Listen to their advice, I know its fun to add power, but its no fun when you start breaking stuff. I'm in that boat right now, my clutch is just about gone and the rearend is not doing so good...

Personally I like the idea of all-motor power ie: no supercharger or turbo. don't get me wrong they are both cool as hell but to have a car runin heads cam and stroked makin close to as much power as by forced induction is way cooler. also you just could add one of them on later , then imagine the power. ahhh power. sorry.

I'd love to help, but have absolutely 0 knowledge involving passing "smog" testing.

Good luck though!

if you have never ridden in a turbo V8 then your missing out. Also listen to the other in this thread, do all the supporting mods, then worry about adding power.
