Default N2O Harley bout ready for Jake to Pilot

Should have harley running today. Jake has offered to be the pilot. Still got a bit to do on the n2o (wet) system, but we'll see. Should be a fun ride. Will post some pics later.

Sweet! When are you going to run it? I'd be down for a bike get together.

Thanks Steph. It looks better now with different painted rear fender and different handelbar risers, also longer fork tubes.

Nice looking bike. How much N2O and what size engine? I'll stick to my crotch rockets.

Very nice. Have any times? It's definetaly out of the Harleys league, as least for now. I plan on doing a stroker kit, in the near future, just to be able to tag along behind some of the current crotch rockets. With that said, Trutt & Osborn were getting the Ironheads into the 9's back in the late sixtys. Now am I implying that my bike will/can do nines, no, not close.

I used to run my built up KZ1000 every wednesday night when I lived in Phoenix. Had a great time just racing friends for beers There was about a 10 yr period in my life when my KZ was my primary mode of transpo. I miss those days *sigh* Never ridden a Harley before though.

I have the same bike. 2005 Blu/Whi GSXR1000. Stock (straight from the dealer with 96 miles) I was running 10.5-10.6s. I now have it lowered, strapped, and a new exhaust system and run 10.2s It is easily a 9 second bike, but I'm not a fly weight and still need more practice to get better. Next year I will be in the 9s with it.

I haven't taken it to the track yet, but I used to ride my buddy's '03 GSXR 1000 all the time at Speedworld in Phoenix. I cut a 10.25 @ 138 and it was stock down to the filter (I ride pretty decent ). That was at 3000 da with my fat *** on it too. This bike is lighter, more powerful, geared down, has dogbones for lowering and we are at sea level. Should be pretty quick.
