It really depends on how your car will be driven/how much power you will be making. I think, for the money the Spohn tubular subframes are a great choice. They are strong, and will work well when racing with slicks.
I recomend the 3 point SFC's
umi and KB make good 3 points
and umi is a sponsor -->

For your application, there is no need for extra heavy duty and expensive connectors. Theoretically, their purpose is very simple: to connect the front and rear subframes and prevent the body from twisting and working loose; whether from normal driving or from torque-twisting launches. Even if you are not going to race the car, subframe connectors are a great idea to prevent chassis loosening, and keep the car's doors from not shutting right, t-tops not fitting, etc.

So what do you think would be a relatively priced SFC for me

I've got the BMR Tubular weld in's and am very happy with them. They make a big difference in how the car feels and handles! :)

I wish they stopped that along with the 1/4 pannel dimples, but unfortunatley they dont. They do make the car stiffer, but if I could do it all over again I woulda skipped the subframes and went straight for a 6 point.

ive noticed that BMR's seems to be cheaper comparing to company websites , about 30-40 dollars less than others. anyone know why this is?

I myself just ordered a set of UMI boxed SFC's. They were only 139 bucks. I really wanted their 3 point SFC's. They are sweet. They were a little out of my price range right now.
I will be buying all of my chassis and suspension from UMI.

I went with the BMR tubular's which is prolly what you should go with, because the boxed design you lose some ground clearance. BMR's shop is like a 20 minute drive from my dads house which i go to all the time. Im happy with mine.

UMI 3 points, feels like they really stiffened up the car, in my case they stopped all the squeaks, and made the car feel more like one piece

We offer a subframe that reinforces the rear control arm box all the way around and has multiple weld points along the rocker panel http://www.bmrfabrication.com/sfc/conv.jpg :)

Ryan, why not make a chrome moly 3 point? Or is that already in the works?

I may get the 3 point system from them on my 1997 Formula. Would you guys recommend bolt in or weld in? Will it interfere with putting a torque arm or any other mods or dropping the tranny for a TC install? How much of a difference in my E/T would I see with these since they add on a good amount of weight?

There are, if you're talking about aftermarket. I'm not too sure how the SLP "convertible style" ones work (e.g. supplement the OEM subframe connector, or replace it altogethor).

I would love a chromoly weld-in diamond subframe connector set.
I would buy them right this second.
My SLP diamond connectors are HEAVY!!!!
Hell I wish they made 35mm chromoly sway bar and panhard bars as well... and them sell them through Summit since I have a credit card with them.

We attempted this but found that although the demand seemed high it wasn't when it actually came down to charging for it. Since Chrome Moly requires a different welding process (TIG) then mild steel it was very hard to come up with a 3-point that would work. We could do it but like I said I do not think the demand is big enough so we decided to only offer them in mild steel only.
Hope that helps!

Just how much would they cost?
Wouldn't it be possible to sell the arms with steel mounting plates with the chromoly connectors welded to it?
So that when you put them on it would be just like welding regular steel but with the bars being the nice stuff.
How much would they cost? Would they have been the same price as bolt-ons?
Wolfecraft sells chromoly subframe connectors for a reasonable price but I wanted diamonds because I am pretty much only going for looks...
cuz people always look under the car.
That and the stiffnesss will offset an airspring suspension's sloppy @ss handling.
