Default Shimming a Spec Stage 2

I received my stage 2 today, and I plan on installing it in a couple of weeks. I will be using the stock flywheel, which I'll have resurfaced.

The clutch came with a shim for the slave cylinder...do I need to use that? Will that make the pedal engage lower or higher off the floor?

if you are using a resurfaced flywheel I would use the shim

Use it!!!! On my 1st stg II left it out. ended up pulling the tranny out to install it. Will give you a good pedal engage height.
