I never get tired of watching that video. And as gaudy as all that body work it it's amazing how functional and how much downforce it makes. Peugeot makes an awesome rally car. Wish they were still sold here.

Try to open the link again, it didn't work the first time for me either. Crazy driver, that is just insane. Rallying is the most fun kind of racing in my books.

Yeah the run was made in 10:47.77 in 1988 the record stayed until 1994 when it was beat by a built celica all-trac that ran a 10:04.??.

Unofficially the peugot was pushing 700bhp with about a 1.9L I-4 turbo. AWD and 4-wheel steering.

I'd love to try that sometime. I'd be slow, but that adrenaline rush would last for months

I can't watch it either... damn filters the government has on. I ran Pike's Peak when I was in Colorado Springs a year ago... or at least as much as I could. lol

The truck broke down so I was stuck there for a week and had a rental... kinda hard to really get going with other people going up and down, but I'd usually pull over and wait for a but if I caught up to someone. Get some space and hammer down! :rck:

Was fun on the way down too... even with the FWD just pull back the e-brake and slide it around and hammer down.

<<< Got a t-shirt to remember the experience.

So would I. Can I borrow your car? No way would I do that road in my TA. Tho it would probably get rid of the crickets that are still on the underside of the car....
