Default RWTD Diablo Predator?

I'm changing my ring and pinion from 3.42 to 4.10 in my 2000 M6 Firebird. I need to correct the speedometer after the change, and I've got a couple ways to do this. One, bring it to a local shop and have them flash it and adjust the speedometer for $75, or buy a Diablo Predator from RWTD for $400 and get a mail-order tune as well. Current mods only include a catback and a Volant CAI. I will add power later, either headers/cam or blower, but it won't be for a long time. With my current mods, will a mail-order tune actually be worth it? Thanks in advance for the replies.

Either get the $75 job, or find someone local with HPTuners and a license for a 2000 F-body LS1. They would probably do it for even less than that. It is a very, VERY simple job as long as you have the proper software.

^^^ ditto

Post up in your regional section to see if anyone's near you that can make the change for you ... so long as you're willing to meet up and offer some $$$ i'm sure you'll find someone willing to help

Hell, I'd do it for $20 if you lived here...$10 if you bought me some Taco Bell to go along with it. Then again, I don't currently have a 2000 license

Thanks for the quick heads-up, guys. I'd probably be buying Taco Bell and Coronas if one of y'all could do it for me.

.... would be helpful if you'd post your location ...

If you're willing to be w/out your PCM for 7 to 10 days (1 to 1.5 weeks ) I could take care of the gear change for the cost of shipping back to you ... but list your location and there may be locals that can help

Whoops, forgot that, thought it was in my profile. I'm in Smog **** country, California. Car's in Sacramento getting fixed, and I'm down in LA. I've posted up in the regional forum, so we'll see if I can go with someone local.

Thanks for the offer, Mike, but unfortunately, the car is not in my hands right now, and I couldn't ask my car's current guardian to pull it out for me. He doesn't like touching cars. Thanks for the help, though.
