I'm running a set of alpine spx-17MB's which sound great in my setup. Mind you, I'm also running a single 10" in a stealth box.
Another user on here was not too thrilled with just the 17MB's. They're great for midbass, but for true low end you need some sort of sub. We're still waiting on the verdict/feedback on the subs that zeos referenced in the thread link above.

look into focal. i can't be sure of the model, but if you contact them they'll point you in the right direction. i almost had to use one, but ended up not. it was recommended to me for the application by dynaudio, another high end competitor company of theirs. the mid from the crystal sscs 6 is also getting used as a sub in some new vehicles. i can't remember exactly the ones chevy dealerships are yanking out and replacing with the crystal. the mid in the DLS R6A has some very strong mid bass. i haven't tried it as a sub, but i do xover it down to 60hz in doors and kicks and it hit's.

ok, ok, it's the crytal ssw 5.25 i was thinking of (not the sscs 6 mid). nasty little driver. comes from their pro audio line. kevlar cone, huge ferrite motor. retail is $100 each, we do better than that for pricing though (a lot better). just to try and help get them out there and known.
