FMS F-7 vs. LPE GT2-3
In a 6.0L supercharged application, would the FMS F-7( 226"/230" .575"/.595" 114LSA ) outperform the LPE GT2-3 ( 207/220 .571/.578 118.5 ) by a great amount? Or would the differences be marginal. Not only in performance, but driveablity and reliability.
Shift points would be 6200-6500 at the most.
thanks.

Hi,
I think the FMS cam would make a higher peak horsepower number at the same boost level, but the GT2-3 would be much better in terms of driveability and reliability. The GT2-3 sounds and feels like stock untill you put your foot in it!
Hope this helps,
Ed

When my car was Procharged the LPE GT2-3 cam was awsome! Driveability was perfect and was exactly what I wanted. Cam had a great sound to it too. For a perfect street car .
