Default Looking at a '99 T/A M6 Vert

Im a noob....well its been awhile.(had a 1986 IROC and 1992 RS) but Im looking at a 99 T/A M6 Convertible, does this have the LS1 or the LT1...and what are the differences? (HP?)

it better have an LS1 being a 99. you better run away if theres an LT1 in it.

as far as horsepower, every LS1 is different for some reason, but just know LS1>LT1.

What are the diffs between LT1 and LS1? The LS1 is an entirely new generation of engine. It's an aluminum block motor. It's a very nice OEM engine, you won't be sorry you own one.
LT1's can also be hotrodded quite nicely, so I'm not a bigot. But the LS1 is a darn nice engine.
