Default PVC and FI

I ditched my PCV valve when I did my setup a while back and now noticed when I cruise in a steay speed I get some smoke when I stop. I don't have a catch can right now but I wanna put a pcv valve back on the car and was wondering how I would set it up.

I have the stock LS1 intake and the tube that runs up the side of it on the passenger side then went into the pcv valve then into the intake behind the throttle body. I have the nipple on the intake pluged right now, should I unplug it and put the pvc valve there and then just dump it to the ground for now? Or do I leave it plugged up and put the pcv valve on the tube that runs down the side of the intake?

From what I read so far.
the port coming off the intake(behind the throttle body) check valve there, pcv valve, catch can, then back into the tube that runs to the valve covers?

How would I run this setup without a catch can?
the port coming off the intake(behind the throttle body) check valve there, pcv valve, maybe a breather filter to catch oil or just dump to the ground?
What would I do to the tube that runs to the valve covers, just vent it? I do have breather filter on the oil cap.

so what if you dont have a stock intake anymore?

is there going to be a problem with this oil getting in the intake tract? I would think itd get traped in the intercooler before it would make it to the intake

or am I missing a step here along hte way?

Don't you mean PCV ? I stole my setup from kp's pics , except I used a Jaz catch-can instead of the AMW .

I just redid my PCV system not to long ago. I ran all the lines off the valve covers to my AMW catch can back to the front of the intake. I don’t have a PCV valve anymore either. I am happy with this setup for 2 reasons. 1 the old ones was falling apart and was just plan nasty. 2 the catch can works really well, I never had a problem with eating oil but the system still catch's some.

so ur running the hoses off the valve covers into the catch can, then the hose off the catch can into the intake?if u dont have a check valve wouldnt that pressurize the crank case?

Just like you said Valve Covers--->Catch Can--->Intake

My AMW catch can camewith this little pressure thing, dont know what the name is, but it only allows air to go one way. They recommend that with FI applications. I have not had any problems with it at all and trust me I go plenty fast enough being overseas.
