Default Z06 clutch???

Where can you get this clutch? ive looked at a few of the sponsers and cant find it anywhere? found A link to GMpartsdirect and it says will only fit Z06 model vettes. Is there a different one for F bodies or will this work?

And im debating this or a Spec 3 clutch, I go to the track now and then but not every week. is there that much difference in the 2 clutches?

thank you

I just bought it on gmpartsdirect.com...the Z06 clutch, pressureplate, and flywheel package and I bought the Z06 slave seperate. It tallied up to $515 or somewhere around there.

The Z06 clutch is an excellent driver clutch...I'd run it on anything I didn't plan on racing. If you're going to take it to the track I would go with the Spec stage III...I've been running one in my 02 Camaro and 93 Mustang for a while now with no problems at all.

Good luck!

Couldn't have said it better myself I have the Spec stage3F (iron disk). Great holding power and good street manners.

I'm looking at purchasing the Z06 clutch as well. Two questions though, do I need the slave cylinder if I have a 2002 Z28? Second, what is a good/excellent aluminum flywheel that would work well with this clutch (i.e. no chatter)?
I'm currently pushing 400 rwhp, 376 rwtq but it's only driven on the street.

The Z06 Clutch is a great clutch, never had any problems with it, beating on it constantly, and doing 6K dumps at the track/street, only reason replaced it was cause tranny broke and while I had it out wanted to upgrade to the Spec 3i clutch for other future HP plans!!!! Both Great Clutches!!!!!

If you prefer a stock style clutch, you may consider getting an LS-7 clutch, pressure plate, and LS2 flywheel - a bit over $500. Would be a better choice over an LS-6 clutch setup.

So the Z06 clutch part # 12570806 will bolt up directly to my 00 LS1 right?
