Default slapshifter/shift kit for auto 2002 z28

I'm new to this stuff so i need all the help i can get...I want to get a slap shifter for my automatic z28 to make it respond quicker, and just a little more fun. I cant find anything on this that will fit my car. i'd appreciate all the help i can get. thanks!

It only fits 67-94 GM columns?? Does anyone know if it will fit a 98 and they jus didnt update it?

95 wasn't that the first year for mandatory airbags? If it is that's the reason they don't list any past 94, they don't want the liability if someone installs one and they screw up the airbag (either making explode, or cutting something so it never goes off)
The splines on the column (where the steering wheel attaches) may be the same, and it may physically fit, but the liability lawyers won't let them advertise that they fit later coulumns
