Default newbie/01 WS6

OK,I just read some more and I've decided to go with the true duals from Hooker LT's w/ the dynomax bullet.Do I need an X or H pipe for my 01 WS6? I don't know anyone near me yet who specializes in this stuff but I plan to.Also ,from what I've read here I need a cold-air induction for my stock ram-air hood.I've learned alot in the 2 days I've been on here and these will be my first mods.

A lid won't remove the baffles from the hood.

Since you have a WS6 go with the Brian Green Ram Air (BGRA) for a "cold air" setup. Best to take advantage of those gaping nostrils in your hood.

Most will tell you not to take the baffles out of the hood. If you ever get caught in some rain it will soak down your air filter and could get in the engine. Where are you located at. Theres probably somebody on here near you that can help.

I think people refer to them as both. You just don't hear to much of people removing the baffles/silencer. It's just they add a lid. It's confusing sometimes.

Go to either edit post, or when you make a new post go to the advanced one where you can add smilies and change text and what not. Down at the bottom of the page, past submit reply there is a buttton that says manage attachemnts. Click on that and upload them for your computer. Or you could find a picture on the net and type in this {} Just do not put the { } around it.

I always recommed taking them out. I drove without mine through very hard rain and also some decent snow storms, i never had any problems with the filter. There is also an option for rain blockers with the BGRA, you can just leave those in till you go to the track....you'll never have to worry then.
