Default Im one lucky guy

I won the comp cams summer contest and they gave me a bad *** t-shirt and a $500 gift certificate. Before I found out, I was looking at the TR224 cam but now since I have the gift certificate to comp, I was checking out their 224. Is there a difference between the two for the same LSA? Is there a reason to go with the Thunder cam over the Comp cam? Any help would be appreciated.

This is my daily driver so Im looking for quality and long term reliability. In the future, I think my only other mods are going to be some suspension and AFR heads... Im guessing a new rear will be in order shortly after. My current mods are in sig.

Congrats on winning!!!

Depends what lobes you go with.

Comp uses different ramp/lobes rates than Thunder.

I have a custom "turbo" cam from Comp, it's a 226 222 116lsa on XER lobes.

Is there any advantage of going with thunder over comp or vice versa?
