Question Arlington People

anyone know a good machine shop around the area to take my engine in so they can fix the oil pan bolt holes. I need them helicoil.
also if you have done this to your car, how much am I looking to pay for the work. I am taking the engine out myself.

also
if anyone would be willing to help me out on Saturday morning to complete the drop of the engine from the bottom I would apreciate it. I am a little confused about some details. I am about 90% done. there will be beer and pizza, thank a lot fellas

Charles Machine Shop does alot of my stuff. And he does great work.

where is charles machine shop located at, do you have the physical address or a phone number handy by any chance?

I will tear it down this saturday and hopefully get it there asap if they are opn on the weekends.

ok here is an update and some more questions
I taled to a machine shop and he said that he needs the block to be tore down to a bare short block, so the heads need to come off and the accessories.
now the thing is that I have arp bolts and I really dont want to take those out again, they were a pain to put on.
also I want to know if I can reuse the same head gaskets. they are brand new, but can they be reused....

Charles is kind of a ********, if you go in there and dont know your **** prepare to be belittled, he does good work tho. Yahoo yellowpages works wonders

I did talk to Charles, I told him I was going to take the engine in early next week after I dissasemble it. He said he was going to try to get it to me asap. I hope everything goes smoothly

Arlington Machine Shop has done work for me in the past, and Id use them again. Very reasonable.

Automotive Machine and Supply in Ft. Worth has done a ton of work on LS1 motors.

Ask for Steve (drive's a 35th SS) and tell him Mitch sent you.
