Contact "Found a Deal" They are an outlet for overstock and slightly damaged SLP stuff. You can do a search on Ebay or contact them directly. I saw some stickers offered recently. However, SLP will not reprint them. You will have to have them printed somewhere..(Kinkos?) If I were you I would carefully remove the original sticker and preserve it.

Hope you took a photo of it before the crash - or at least recorded the info on paper. That sticker is specific to the VIN of your car. Good luck Man.

ya i talkedto slp today and they said s.o.l. i still have the car so i think im going to cut it out with a sawzaw before it goes to the body shop and keep it atleast for my records. its hard to read anyways but still its there and its one of the only ways of proving my car as a real ss. im going to keep looking though.

That's what I had my body shop do before they replaced my driver's door skin. Lucky for me the only decal that got damaged in the wreck was the one that was not VIN specific. Still have my original decals (on the original chunk of door) in a zip-lok.
RECOMMENDATION FOR ALL: Take some good pictures of those VIN-specific decals (on both doors if you have them), they cannot be replaced. And don't ever try to remove them, they'll get destroyed in the process.

That's stupid, you should be able to send in a form to SLP and get the thing re-printed ( obviously for a price )... I understand the reasons behind not wanting to re-print them, but honestly people drive like idiots these days. You'd have to garage your car all the time otherwise...

If your car has WU8 on the RPO list, that's your proof right there. the RPO list comes from GM's computers, and any GM dealership should be able to print it for you. as far as the original SLP decal, tell the shop that once they have your new door painted, cured and installed, to use a heat gun to remove the decal from the old door and put it on the new door. this may mean you having to cut the decal out and keeping it for a few days or so while the paint cures. a heat gun should do the trick though. its what windshield guys use here in texas to swap inspection stickers and registration stickers when they replace cracked or busted windshields.

You can take off the sticker from the door, a good body shop take off with a heat gun and put them pn the new door, send dune before. good luck.

So is there any way of replacing a VIN specific decal on the door, getting it reprinted through Pontiac or something somehow? A girl in a Cavalier slammed into the side of my T/A a while back, and I got a brand new door, but all of the decals were completely destroyed in the process, there was no saving them.

Dave Hamburger of SLP Engineering is the one selling the sticker on e-bay aka tinylittlecars. There was a thread on chirpthird.org that was bashing him for selling the blank stickers. He has since pulled the stickers and is in the process of getting the original printer back up and working so he can reprint SLP stickers after VIN verification. Send him an e-mail through his e-bay name and see if he has a time frame when he will be able to do them and how much he's charging.

from David,
"Yes, after SEMA is over, I will start offering re-prints of the originals once we verify the VIN's of legitimate owners. I will post the info at camarossoa.org and firehawk.org
Regards,
David"
