Default Which cam for A4?

Should i go with a 112 or a 114, my car isn't a track car, i want the car to idle good and put down decent numbers, currently have flp headers, running cats, borla exhaust, was thinking of 2800-3000 stall with 3.73 gears. any opinions?

MY mods are in my sig I have a F13 on a 110 LSA custom ICL. Runs great people that ride in it think it rides almost like stock, till I hammer it. pulls great up top and the 3800 stall takes car of everything down low. My idle is set to 950. Any other questions you have I'll be happy to try and answer.

i would say anything that is 224/224 with a 112 would be nice, i have a custom grind 224/224 567/567 on a 112 and have it to idle a 850. also have a 3200 vig stall.

That what i was thinking too, just wasn't sure if i should go with that cam with a 112 or 114, i was thinking a yank 2800 stall with 3.73 gears. i don't race, just wanted something that would be fun on the street.

I will tell you this you will regret not going with atleast a 3500 stall. And as far as cams its all about your goals power wise and sound wise. I dont go to the track but once in a great while and could care less about ET's. My goals were to have a fast/powerful car without sacrificing drivibility and I couldnt be happier. I'm averaging about 17-18mpg in the city, almost every stalled auto I have seen that is under 3500 have upgraded. But like I said its about what your goals/expectations are. There are plenty off 224 cams that make really good power tho.

224/224/ comp cam extreme lobes on a 114 is a sweet street track cam but a 112 will give similar perf while roughing up the idle just a hair. It's what i used to run some good times back in the day.
