Default Selling my f-body. What's my trans am worth?

I have a 98 ws6 trans am that im selling because im trying to get a cts-v. Not sure what to ask for it. its a silver M6, t top, ws6 ram air. Has dark gray interior with 61,000 on the clock. Car is perfect really. Has K&n, slp lid, flowmaster with 4 inch stainless tips that look bad ***. I love the car its an awesome ride. Sounds great and turns head everytime i drive it. Just want a cts v otherwise i wouldnt sell it. Wondering what to ask for it. Thanks guys

Sell it to me for a $1 Seriously though, I'd say anywhere from 11-15K

You will probably be able to get $10K for it. I'd start pricing the car above that, maybe someone will pay more, if not you have room to move.

where are you? that makes a difference. id say ask 12 and take 10,500 if it sits longer than 2 weeks. thats a good lookin car so it should bring the bucks. sounds like whoever buys it will have an awesome ride.

98 ws6 with 61k, I'd say 10k would be a good number to shoot for ( sence 98's are normally looked at the "lesser" of the years ) put it up for 13.5k and give it some time you might get that for it but this way it will give you wiggle room

www.kbb.com

Those mods will add exactly 0 to the price.

KBB is the absolute worst guide out there to use.

KBB doesnt write checks.....what options does this car have as far as leather, 12 disc, monsoon, etc?....i work at a dealership and can see what theyre normally going for in the market....just let me know....and remember its your car .....and u may have to wait awhile to sell it....no big deal because right now all cars are kind of standing still....so basically what im saying is dont give the car away for 10 unless u can afford that.

With that many miles I would have to say 12.5K but If I were you I would ask 13 and take 12 if someone offered

kbb may be the worst but it is still the most widely used, an uneducated buyer will use this as a guide and nothing else.

So instead of giving him the worst, what is the best?

I would say watching what similar cars sell for in that area would be the best, I didn't mean to give him the worst I meant to give him the one people will show up with a printout off the internet with more than likely.

Best I'd say 13k, if you got that take it and run!

Which is true but I believe that you can also put a zipcode in to find out how much the cars are going for in the KBB.

I'm in the exact same boat. You can see my car and info in the link in my thread. While it isn't perfect, it's in great condition. I'm asking $13.5K, but it's definitely negotiable. I think car sales are at a standstill because of gas prices... hopefully that's all it is. Otherwise no one around here wants my car lol, but damn I'd like to sell it already.

Good luck selling your car myeakle: I'm in the same situation and selling a car sucks (for me, because I'm impatient).
