STR is stall to torque ratio. Basically its how hard your converter hits. the 1.5 stall wont kill your street tires like a 2.0 will, and if you have a 2.5 you need slicks or an et street type tire. I have a 3600 with a 2.5 str and with 275/50/15 nittos, there wasnt ever traction to be found. With slicks it hooked up great and did a 1.6 60 foot consistantly. Thats just with headers/lid/3.73's. I have a fuddle racing converter, i went 12.0 @113 with those mods on it...
