trany gets stuck in gear

Default trany gets stuck in gear

i just had my t56 rebuilt and now if i cruise in one gear or a long time it will not come out of the gear i have to mess with it for along time to get it back to normall please help with any ideas i have red line mtl in it

Any gear or just 3rd or 4th? Did your rebuild replace the 3/4 fork(with an iron fork)? If it sticks in any gear I would look for a clutch that is not fully releasing.

it has only done it in 5th ant 6th it has a steel shift fork

Who rebuilt it? If it was a shop take it back. If you did it yourself I would say you have a clutch not disengaging all the way. Did you undo the slave cylinder or the line? You may need to bleed and readjust the pedal.
