Default Another Please help me with SD tuning.

Ok I dont think that im doing something right, b/c my results ust dont make sence. Ok I unpluged the maf. I turned off the mil light for the maf codes. I copied the Main ve to second ve. I set the loop temp. I set to command the a/f to 13.2 and i turned off pe. Now the thing is, i hooked up the scanner and went for a drive, logging the Ltrims and Strims and what i got was Strims were 0 all around, and Ltrims where between -1 and +2 all over except for at idle where they are +5. Now how is it that it could be even close to right on an untuned 99 Camaro with a 224/224 cam and 42.5lb injectors?

99 camaro M6. bolt ons, MMS 224/224 .571/.571 112LSA cam, 42.5lb injectors, p/p Tb, and descreened MAF.

you can't tune in open loop with the fuel trims.

you need either open loop, and a wideband.

or closed loop and fuel trims.

So let me get this right, If im in open loop I do it off of wideband reading and use this formula?? current afr/13.0 = VE multiplier??
