Default It finally happened! What to do?

I went to the track tonight and made two good passes. On the third pass I went to the line and tried to stall it up. It went to 2000rpm and shut off. We pushed it back around and finally got it to start. The thing was making all kinds of noise. I checked the oil and it has metal pieces in it. I don't know if it spun a bearing or what. Where do I go from here?

I had the same happen to me in my 98 Z that I sold. Metal everywhere inside it...I pulled it apart and found it had spun 3 bearings. The stock oil pump failed on me. Good luck!

By the way i noticed you're from Huntington...and I'm not to far away at Beckley....what track are you going to?? I've heard there's a couple in KY that's not to far away.

I don't know if I should go with a 408 or 347.

I would get the 408 and be done with it. If you get the 347, you might be asking yourself "what if" in the longrun.
