Default F type trans fluid swap

Thinking of changing to type F trans fluid. The shops down here charge an arm and a leg to flush trans fluids. I was thinking of draining the fluid and changing the fliter. Running the car for a little while and then changing the fluid again. Anyone see anything wrong with that?

your fluid may still be a little dirty b/c it will all mix togeather. but im sure it would be better than just draining it 1 time. you could just put new fluid in the pan, put it back on and unhook the line up front and run the car untill you see clean fluid start to come out of the line and shut the car off and refill.
