Can I spray a 150 shot with my NOS 5177?
99 Corvette.....upgraded to 28# injectors.
I guess my concerns are the fuel pump......and possibly even the little NOS solenoids. Is a 150 shot safe? What about a 135?
I'm currently running a 125 shot with no problems.....but I'm already bored with that. See sigs for mods.....

Depends on two things, injector duty cycle and whether you are jetting per NOS (at crank) or jetting to the rear wheels. The stock vette Walbro pump is good to about 550hp and some taking it to 600+. I have run 135hp to rear wheels on 28lb injectors. Here's an example, NOS dual .038s is 125hp at crank, so -15% drivetrain lose you get about 105rwhp. Most kits rate at the rw. If you move up in jet size I suggest logging and see where your duty cycle is at, higher than 80% for a short spray run is no big deal, just stay away from going static.

Thanks Robert. I didn't know the stock pump was good to those kind of numbers. I was talking about the NOS rating of 150......so that's only about 130rwhp I guess. I'll do some logging if I decide to go up.....I just didn't want to do something stupid and blow it up on the first run......
