Default Rock on 4l60e made 10 passes today

I went to the Ga Fbody shootout today and made 10 passes. 5 were at 10.3 range. Tranny never missed a beat and I did HOT lap it.....gotta get another cooler tomorrow. New converter runs much hotter. I'll try to beat on it harder next time but they had no track prep today so i just spun all day. If you make 700rwhp or less, Daves tranny is the way to go...do not give up that nice first gear or o/d!!! Weighed the car today and it ranged from 3815-3825#....really glad i didnt ditch a/c to lose weight cause it was hot as **** at the track today.

Yeah I plan on going with a Rock on Tranny since my goal is "only" 650 rwhp.

A/C, you don't need no stinking A/C; you have a drop top! Lower that bad body and drive fast if you want to be cool.

I hope you weren't running the A/C at the track...

i dunno...vickie at precision did it. She says it 3800 but tighter up top then the 3800 i had. it feels like i thought a 3800 should so my last one must have been in the 3400 range. I am going to the track this weekend...much cooler...gonna find somewhere where i can get some traction and get my nine sec slip....i got the power...just got to get it on the ground. this weekend was the roughest i have been on a tranny....Dave wants me to beat it up and see how a couple of mods he did work.

oh and nothing with my car is a secret....anyone wants to know i tell em and show anyone anything at the track if they would like to see. My car has the equipment to run 9s easily, i just haven't figured out how to get it all to the ground. I am not ashamed of that...I never claimed to be a drag racing pro.....just a chump with a T/A who likes going to the strip!!!

Cablebandit, did you run the radials or the ET Drags? How do they compare? TIA.

i ran 28x10.5x15 et drags. The track had no VHT so i dont think it much mattered. The et drags are more consistent but on a prepped track i think you can get the same 60' out of the MT DRs and not have any sway at the top end.

here is a vid of some runs yesterday.
