Default what length pushrod for 228/232 .588/.574

waht it says i am going to run comp 918's do i need 7.4" i am asumming???? just what to check. thanks

Well technically if you are going to run stock lifters you need a .030" bigger because of the smaller base circle on that cam. (I won't get into it but there was a huge post on here about how Thunder Racing's 7.4s are actually 7.430") I don't know if that is true or not but I think most people get buy just ordering some hardened 7.4"s.

i just put a 230/230 .591/.591 cam in and i used 7.4" hardened pushrods...thats what i was told to get by a buddy of mine and no complaints so far! So i'd say yah go with 7.4"

Plus you might want to check with Comp or whoever's grind it is, and see what the base circle is. If you give them a serial number then they can tell you.
